A Sweet Escape with True Stars

It's nice to see Nicole and Gwen together at the Kids Choice Awards (04/02/2007). I'm so fed up with the overrated celebs constantly looking like cheap hookers ... Gwen looked classy as hell with her striped top and black sunglasses ( Gwen always knows how to choose sunglasses that fit her delicate face, not oversized like Nicole Richie who permanently looks like a bug). If you haven't seen her last music video "The Sweet Escape", watch it. The song is cute but nothing special. The video is very creative and so Gweneccentric, it's a funny tribute to gold and it looks like it was directed by this comics obsessed pop art artist, Roy Lichtenstein. Love it!

Sonia Rykiel likes funny faces/is mischievous

Whether it's a glimpse to the Audrey Hepburn classic movie or just Mrs Rykiel's own version of a smiley, those short dresses were a ray of sunlight on the catwalk. They exude innocence, happiness and glamor (plus it's refreshing to see models smile and have fun) and the little bow turns a girl into a yummy gift. I couldn't believe Vogue.com and Style.com chose to remove them from their fashion show slideshow. My favorite one, the one with the white background, was temporarily out of stock at my local store. The acid colors look good too, but it'll definitely be more difficult to wear if you don't go for the lolita look. If you feel naughty, pick the face with the tongue out ;o) The underlying ambiguity is delicious, and so Rykiel!
